Before going to this post i would like to say that I don't have any evil intentions to hurt any one...
Just some general views collected from the chit-chats with my friends...
" Are you ready to marry your children, siblings or relatives outside your religion...??? If your answer is NO., then there is no point in standing together for the National Anthem or cheering for the Indian team... "
definitely not my words... Chetan Bhagath says So...
Sometimes some words comes to you even if you ignore them..
Some of my friends were reading THE WEEK.. they came across his words and told me in between our conversation.. It made me think about the existing system of our Nation..
We say that INDIA is a "SOCIALIST,SECULAR,DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC"
and we say that there is "UNITY IN DIVERSITY"
where do we find the actual meanings of these words...???
If I say.. that India is a country where people are most concerned about religion,cast,state.. ???
Can anybody say sincerely that they don't care even a bit about religion..???
I am not making any statements... only making some general questions...
Religion and Nativity are not a matter of concern to make friendships... In that case we are SECULAR and of course, there is UNITY in DIVERSITY... But when it comes to the matter of Marriage... these things becomes matter of most concern... Most of the times, suddenly we become very conservative.. I am not excluding myself from any thing...
Why is it so friends..??? I think It has been long time that we should think about this...
How religion becomes Such a big thing in a secular nation..???
We made RELIGION... It is not a divine thing... We gave religion to the Almighty...
what is the difference between Gita,Bible and Quran ??
Isn't the basic principle the same... ???
Isn't The Ultimate Aim of every religion the same...???
Every religion says to Love others... Not to build a wall between people... Isn't it..????
Forgive me if I said anything wrong... Forgive me If my words hurt any one..
But... Do we need all these things to live a happy life...????
Don't we need a change ...????

Surya, i must say a great work by you... Its absolutely true even though we speak about India as a "secular" country its only belong to words and its not coming from anyones heart... Its long time to think about this. Everyone speaks about the unity of religions but no one practices it.. sad but true... Youngsters must think about this...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment Anjali.. and yeah.. It is difficult to change a system that we have been practicing for a long time... but we say.. that nothing is impossible... If everybody thinks about this..in the same way.. sometimes...changes can happen.. if we are ready to accept it..
